Which Serialized TV Show Are YOU Most Looking Forward To?

by Roco on September 1, 2010 · 9 comments

Look at all our wonderful serialized heroes. Don’t you just love them?

With the new television season nearly upon us there are a host of serialized shows (airing September 2010 – May 2011) preparing to serve up some real entertainment. But which of these shows are you anticipating the most?

The shows on our 2010-11 radar have everything from zombies, time-travel, alien invasions, alternate realities, dinosaurs, kick-ass spies, vampires and crystal meth dealers – and that’s just The Event! (kidding, NBC!). Being serialized, these shows attempt to have more than just a cool hook or plot device, many of them offer engaging narratives and interesting character studies which set them apart from anything else on the small screen.

All of the shows in our poll are serialized or promise long-form story components. Some of them are returning shows, while others are just starting out in the big bad TV world.

Feel free to vote for the shows that you are most excited about seeing (you can vote for up to 5 shows). We’ll then check back next week to announce the winner of the poll and crown that show The Most Anticipated Serialized TV Show 2010-11!

I’ve been eagerly awaiting “Falling Skies” as well. I’ve also been enjoying AMC’s summer series, “Rubicon”, where I’m led to believe that not all conspiracies are theories.

Page,

That’s interesting. I wouldn’t have put you down for Falling Skies.

AMC make great shows. Period. I kinda love that network. :)

I’ve read a lot about Falling Skies and I think it has a huge potential to be a really exciting show. I can’t wait to see the first trailer…..
The only bad thing about the show is that we have to wait summer 2011 to watch it!

Yeah, the first trailer or teaser should be interesting it. Photos are one thing, but it will be good to gauge the scope and feel of the show by way of video.

Summer 2011 is a long wait indeed!
