John Barrowman has issued a small update on the future of Torchwood.
Speaking to RTE, the actor who plays Captain Jack Harkness in the BBC/Starz serial, confessed:
“If there’s a pause button, we’ve pushed the pause button now because we don’t know what’s happening.”
He continued:
“I would love to do a new series and I will play Captain Jack as long as they want me to play Captain Jack, but it’s in limbo at the moment and beyond my control.”
Exec. producer Julie Gardner recently claimed that “only time will tell” regarding another Torchwood series. But at the moment, the silence (not that silence) surrounding the show’s future wont fill fans with optimism.
We’ll continue to keep you updated on the fate of Torchwood. In the meantime, would you like to see another Torchwood series?
