Tim Kring’s Heroes Will NOT Go To The Movies

While it was always a slim chance that the Heroes universe would spill over into the movies, after the rather uninspiring year that the silver screen has endured (with a few notable exceptions), you just couldn’t be too sure.

Until now that is. According to Entertainment Weekly a key source on the canceled drama revealed that NBC is not moving forward with a movie that would wrap up the four-year series.

In June Heroes creator, Tim Kring, spoke of his desire to wrap the series with a movie and explained why he thought this would be a good idea:

“There will be a huge cultural and social change in the world,” says Kring. “Some [of our characters] will be hiding, some struggling, some basking in the glory.”

If Entertainment Weekly‘s source is accurate, Heroes will have to end the way it started – on the small screen.
