Mireille Enos has a message for fans of The Killing who were left dissatisfied by lack of resolution to the show’s debut season: “If those fans come back [for Season 2], they’ll really enjoy it — if you loved [the journey] the first time around, why not spend more time in it?”
TV Line grabbed some season 2 pointers from Enos as Sunday’s Golden Globes, who went on to explain why the stakes are so much higher this year:
“It picks up the moment you left it behind, and from there the stakes just jump 500 percent. Everyone is back [for the thriller’s sophomore season, which will] “absolutely, 100 percent” [solve the murder of Rosie Larsen]. The mystery just keeps unfolding and everything keeps getting more and more personal for all of these characters.”
Including her character Sarah Linden, who doesn’t respond well to the the possibility that her partner Steven Holden tampered with evidence in the Rosie investigation:
“Sarah has a lot of trust issues anyway, so you can imagine her feeling some betrayal, and then it just continues from there.”
