SHOL is back and on track.. Voting is now open for the August Seriable Hall Of Legends!
Nominated this month are: Battlestar Galactica, Damages, Deadwood, Mad Men, Twin Peaks, and July’s runner-up, Angel.
NOTES
- Each month we’ll nominate 5 quality serialized TV shows to enter the SHOL voting.
- To keep things fair, serials that competed in the previous month’s SHOL are not eligible to enter the following SHOL, UNLESS they were the runner-up, in which case they automatically receive the sixth and final spot.
- Serials that do not meet our quality standards will, unfortunately, not be considered for the SHOL voting.
- The serial with the most votes by the end of voting will be immortalized in the Seriable Hall Of Legends.
Already SHOL’d are LOST, The X-Files and Doctor Who. Who will join them?
Here’s a selection of clips to help you make your choice for August 2011:
ANGEL
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
DAMAGES
DEADWOOD
MAD MEN
TWIN PEAKS
Which of these serialized favorites deserves a seat at the table of seriable TV legends?

I don’t think it is fair for me to vote if I do not know all of the candidates. I know BSG because I watched it, I have Angel entire series on disc but have yet to watch any episodes, and the others I have heard of but know nothing about. So, I am not going to vote so votes will be counted from those of you who have seen more of the shows on here and my vote won’t unfairly balance anything

This is going to be a tough one for people to choose.
it will be a dogfight between BSG and Twin Peaks the whole way.

Since “Angel” is a carry over from last vote, I voted for it. BSG is a no-brainer for the SHOL, but doesn’t need my help right now.
I watched the pilot for “Damages” and have never seen more than one eppie of “Mad Men” or “Twin Peaks” and not a frame of “Deadwood”.

Which is a pity regarding Deadwood.
SF will always be my first love and I love BSG but Deadwood is, in my opinion, light years ahead of the other choices.
