Jon Favreau has been lined up to direct the high-concept JJ.Abrams/Eric Kripke NBC drama pilot, Revolution.

Revolution follows a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a post-apocalyptic American landscape: a world of empty cities, local militias and heroic freedom fighters, where every single piece of technology — computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights — has mysteriously ceased to exist.” Plenty of seriable potential there.

This represents the first drama pilot helmed by Favreau, who has directed a few comedy pilots in the past including that for the ABC series In Case Of Emergency. It’s also a nice coup for the intriguing Revolution to get a high-caliber director for the pilot.

JJ Abrams, Erick, and now Jon helming the pilot? This show just went upwards on my interest list.
I just hope it has enough seriableness (seriabletude? Nah I like your word seriballs hehe XD)

Agreed, it’s off to a promising start on paper.

Heh, seriabletude (or seritude?) isn’t bad!
