Pilot Casting: Untitled Kevin Williamson Project, THE SELECTION, 666 PARK AVE, More!

Today’s casting updates for pilots with seriable potential include the untitled Kevin Williamson FOX drama project starring Kevin Bacon. There’s also the CW’s distant future The Selection and creeptacular 666 Park Avenue. Not to mention ABC‘s fantasy drama Beauty and the Beast and thriller Last Resort.

Natalie Zea has landed a co-starring role in Williamson’s untitled FOX project. She’ll play the wie of a serial killer who finds herself in the center of a nightmare when he breaks out of prison. It’s not clear how the part would affect her existing role on FX’s Justified (should it make series). [TV Line]

Sean Patrick Thomas (Save the Last Dance) has been cast in The Selection. He’ll play Sylvan Santos, a close adviser to the current queen and an expert in royal etiquette who advises the participants in the competition. [THR]

Dave Annable and Rachael Taylor will be joining Terry O’Quinn on 666 Park Avenue. They’ll play a young couple who accept an offer to manage one of the most historic apartment buildings in New York City. [Deadline]

F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus) has joined ABC’s drama pilot Beauty And The Beast pilot. He’ll play Emperor Dorian’s chancellor, a wise and trusted but duplicitous man of state. [Deadline]

Also at ABC, Max Adler and Bruce Davison have joined Last Resort. Adler will guest star in the pilot, while Davison will recur should the drama get picked up. [TV Guide]
