Today I learned that AMC don’t want us to get too far ahead of ourselves with talk of The Walking Dead getting a second season. That there’s no end to the recent flurry of comic book adaptations. And that Bad Robot are obsessed with frickin Islands.

Two interesting Doctor Who tidbits from yesterday’s Mirror newspaper leave me with a couple of questions:
1. Is the the upcoming Doctor Who split series less about creative restructuring and more about helping Strictly Come Dancing win its ratings war with the X-Factor?
2. It’s 2010. Could we be about to have a female Doctor?

As speculated last week, FOX has landed Locke & Key and is giving it a direct-to-series order. The spooky Joe Hill comic book series will be adapted to the small screen by Steven Spielberg, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Josh Friedman.

Today I learned that all is not what is seems with Fringe. The next series of Doctor Who looks set to change things up further. And Sherlock has me ever so slightly worried for the first time (although my Sherlock reserves still runneth over).

Even though the series doesn’t premiere until October 31st, it had been speculated that a second season of The Walking Dead was already on the cards.
Today further rumors broke which suggest a second season of The Walking Dead will begin shooting early 2011.

TERRA NOVA the upcoming dinosaur time-travel adventure series from Fox, doesn’t arrive on our screens until May 2011. That’s a long time to wait for something so potentially intriguing. However, Patrick Sauriol from the Corona Coming Attractions site has already perused the pilot script for Terra Nova, and has shared his thoughts on what he calls ‘a western-shaped recipe list’.
