Orphan Black has enlisted three additional players to bump heads with the Clones in Season 2.
Michiel Huisman (Game Of Thrones) and Nikita actors Peter Outerbridge and Ari Millen have been cast in the second season of BBC America’s acclaimed clone serial.
Huisman will play the recurring role of Cal Morrison, the network has confirmed, a tough, resourceful outdoorsdude with surprising emotional depth and instincts about people and situations. Cal will require guile and heart when he crosses paths with the clones. His journey will be fraught with surprise, danger, and unforeseen revelations.
Outerbridge will portray the recurring Henrik “Hank” Johanssen, a mercurial modern-day cowboy. Johanssen enters the fray as the leader of a flock of followers that have splintered from the old world “Prolethean” brotherhood. Under his messianic gaze, the age old divide between science and religion has merged, forming a new and formidable threat.
Millen’s multi-episode arc will see him portray Mark, a scheming predator with a twisted edge. Mark is completely devoted to Johanssen, who took him under his wing and built him into a true believer in the cause. Now, guided by warped morality and desperate faith, he’s a relentless and dogged pursuer of the clones.
Season 2 hits the ground running with Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) in a desperate race to find her missing daughter Kira. Her scorched earth tactics spark a war with pro-clone, Rachel, dividing and imperiling all the clones. As Sarah discovers more about her past, mysterious newcomers appear, but can they be trusted?
Orphan Black Season 2 premieres 2014 on BBC America.
