Once Upon A Time‘s red riding hood has been cast in CBS pilot Intelligence, Deadline reports
Intelligence, from Michael Seitzman, is centered around the US Cyber Command unit that has been created around agent Gabriel Black (Josh Holloway) with a very special gift, a microchip that has been implanted in his brain that grants him to access the full electromagnetic spectrum.
Meghan Ory has been cast as the female lead opposite Holloway. The actress, who was promoted to series regular for Once Upon A Time‘s second season but hasn’t had all that much to do besides some minor subplots, will play Riley O’Neil, an ex Secret Service taking on the challenge of protecting the nation’s top intelligence asset.
Should Intelligence get picked up to series it’s unlikely Ory would reprise her role in the third season of Once Upon A Time, certainly not on a regular basis. It’s also possible that the character will be killed off by the end of this season. We’ll see.
Also joining Intelligence is P.J. Byrne. He we play Nelson, a computer scientist working with Gabriel. He is the son of a computer genius who is struggling to make a name for himself.
