Locke & Key – the small screen adaptation of the spooky Joe Hill comic series – finally has its male lead. Jesse McCartney will fill the boots of Tyler, the eldest of the Locke-lings. The actor singer is the final addition to the cast for the pilot.

NBC has confirmed that The Event will return to our screens from March 7th with a two-hour presentation (and not February 28th as originally stated). The show also secured acclaimed cinematographer Janusz Kaminski — (the guy behind Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan, Schindler’s List, andWar of the Worlds) to direct episode 15.
Can’t say that I’m surprised: NBC has reduced its order for The Cape by three episodes. Instead of the originally planned 13 episodes, the network has only committed to 10. This comes on the back of a series low ratings (1.5 adults 18-49).
