The David E. Kelley drama has been renewed for a second round of 10 episodes set to resume production in February for a premiere in late 2018. The renewal comes ahead of the Wednesday’s season one finale.
Kelley (Big Little Lies) and Jack Bender, who directed, are set to return. Stephen King, Kelley, Bender and Dennis Lehane exec produce, with the latter also contributing writing to the drama from Sonar Entertainment.
Season two will be based on King’s Bill Hodges Trilogy, which includes Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers and End of Watch. Harry Treadaway starred in season one as killer Brady Hartsfield, who taunts a retired police detective played by Brendan Gleeson.
