Josh Holloway Intelligence CBS

LOST alum Josh Holloway has nabbed the lead role in CBS potential pilot drama Intelligence from Michael Seitzman

Holloway, who played the lovable rogue James “Sawyer” Ford on the hit ABC mystery serial, will headline as Gabriel Black, a former Navy Seal and dedicated intelligence officer, Deadline reports.

Intelligence revolves around the US Cyber Command unit that has been created around one agent with a very special gift, a microchip that has been implanted in his brain that grants him to access the full electromagnetic spectrum.

David Semel is set to direct and executive produce.

I’m glad to see him back in the TV saddle, but I don’t know about this role. I guess we’ll see how this plays out. I was hoping, that maybe he’d go out for the Han Solo stand-alone movie, that Disney will be pumping out soon. I guess he still could.

Ehh, I’m not exactly anticipating this one and I doubt it’ll be a role where Holloway gets to express much of what he’s capable of.

  3. I am watching LOST now on G4. I really like Josh’s work! It’s funny, because I was just talking about him and wondering when he would be on TV again.
I just saw him in Season 1, Episode 1 of ANGEL in the first few minutes before the title sequence.

    • I am rewatching lost on G4 also. I finished watching all the episodes last night up to ‘The End’. It was my second watch and it was even better the second time around.

  4. David Semel directed the Pilot of Person Of Interest. That’s all I can say about the possible quality of the show because I’m not even sure what the premise means. Access to the full electromagnetic spectrum? Aha. It’s good to have Josh back on TV though!

    • Rick Terry says:

Maybe he can see auras and ghosts, and other dimensional creatures and such with the full spectrum vision. Other than that IDK WTH it could be about.

      • Thanks, that could make sense I suppose! Shows like LOST, Fringe and The Event have been using electromagnetism as another term for ”magic”, so it will be interesting to see what this show does with it! :p

  5. Sounds a bit silly but I’m taking this as a vote of confidence in POI by CBS so why not…
