huntedbbc4

The BBC has released the first look at Hunted, a new thriller from some of the minds behind The X-Files and Spooks, starring spy serial veteran Melissa George. The series has been on our radar for a while now and we can finally share with you the freshly squeezed trailer below:

Melissa George plays Sam Hunter, a highly skilled operative for an elite private intelligence firm, who survives an attempt on her life that may have been orchestrated by members of her own team. Once she returns to the firm, she performs her secretive duties without knowing who to trust and who wants her dead.

The first season takes place in London with each subsequent season will taking place in a different European city.

Hunted premieres this fall on the BBC with Cinemax launching the series on Friday, October 19 at 10PM.

It’s hard to imagine Lauren without that blonde hair. I can’t decide whether or not it looks better or worse. This sounds more like a movie plot than a series plot, but if they don’t stray from the core issue, it sounds pretty interesting.

And yes, she will always be Lauren to me, just like every time I see Bradley Cooper in something I exclaim “Will!”

And, for good measure, according to IMDB, “Hunted” enlists the help of Stannis Baratheon and Balon Greyjoy from GOT as well as Mr. Eko of “Lost” fame.
