HOMELAND: Mandy Patinkin On Saul’s ‘Children’, ‘Endless’ Season 2 Possibilities

Homeland‘s Mandy Patinkin has revealed that his character, Saul, has three children on the show, and believes the spy series could “end up in a very different place,” before the Brody storyline is done.

Patinkin on Saul’s “children”:

“One [of Saul's children] is Carrie, one is our country, and I think Brody becomes a child to him as well.”

On Season 2 and the “endless possibilities” story-wise:

“We could still end up in the CIA this year,” he mused. “And if the political situation continues for Brody, eventually we might all end up morphing ourselves into Congress or the White House or something else, so Homeland might have begun with the CIA and might end up in a very different place.”

Showtime president David Nevins recently claimed that Homeland‘s second season will keep fans on their toes.
