A new spot for Homeland Season 2 heralds the return of the Golden Globe-conquering Claire Danes and her conflicted and inflicted CIA agent Carrie Matheson.
The 30-second spot contains new footage teasing Carrie’s return to action on the hunt for Abu Nazir, following her Icarus-esque fall at the end of last season. Dig it below:
Carrie almost getting shot aside, the most chilling part of that promo has to be Saul telling (presumably) David Estes “what did you think would happen!?” — though her confession to never being so sure and so wrong is utterly compelling. Yup, Carrie’s back, folks.
