AMC has unveiled the official poster and cast photos for their upcoming western serial — Hell on Wheels.
Last week we posted the first-look Hell On Wheels trailer. Now its the turn of the promotional poster and cast photos for the upcoming western serial.
First up, take a look at the wicked HOW poster accompanied by a tagline that doesn’t mess around: “Blood Will Be Spilled. Lives Will Be Lost. Men Will Be Ruined”:

The artwork features series stars Elam Ferguson (Common) and Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount), guns in hand, in front of a moving train billowing smoke.
Some posters are bland, others just speak. This one does the business for me. Something about the combination of stares, guns, train, smoke..nice job.

Even though AMC wouldn’t send out ‘Hell on Wheels’ screeners to critics, a possible indication the show might not be very good, I want it to succeed. There are around 6 or 7 westerns beings developed for television. If the show isn’t good, it could turn people off to the genre before it even gets a chance to get ramped up again. I’m also looking forward to TNT’s ‘Gateway’.
