Today’s bite-sized serial menu brings news and tidbits from the worlds of Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Dexter.
- Game Of Thrones author George R.R. Martin teased his Season 3-penned episode in an interview with Access Hollywood:
“My episode is called ‘Autumn Storms.’ It is Episode 7. It rains a lot. That’s all I can reveal — the weather. It’s a lot of raining and blowing of wind.”
- As for the fate of Theon, who had a mysterious end to Season 2, Martin confirmed: “Yes, Theon will be in Season 3,” but kept mum on the details.
- Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is considering a Saul Goodman spin off. He told Indie Wire:
“I can’t say that it is genuinely in the works at this moment, but certainly Bob Odenkirk and I have talked about it a little bit. I can’t promise that it will ever happen, but I think I personally, as fan number one of this world, meaning the first one to partake of these plot moments and whatnot, I personally would love to tune in and see a good Saul Goodman show.”
“I like the idea of a lawyer show in which the main lawyer will do anything it takes to stay out of a court of law,” Gilligan continued. “He’ll settle on the courthouse steps, whatever it takes to stay out of the courtroom. That would be fun — I would like that.”
- Heroes alum Santiago Cabrera has joined the upcoming seventh season of Showtime’s Dexter. Cabrera is slated to appear in a couple of episodes as Ethan Price, a charming investigative writer of true crime books about famous murder cases. [EW]
