Fringe fans itching to watch the sci-fi serial’s fifth and final season on Netflix were given a small (Johari) window of opportunity early August, when the streaming company mistakenly added the show to its library before Fringe producers Warner Bros. had given them the thumbs up.
The result: Many Fringe fans managed to binge only some of the final 13-episodes, before the series was pulled down the wormhole of dismay, leaving them frustrated and checking their calendars to see if it was April 1st.
But today (Sept. 12), Netflix has followed up on its promise by re-adding Fringe Season 5 to its library, making it available to stream in its entirety.
This time there shouldn’t be any dramatic interruptions, so fans can watch at their convenience!
Update: Netflix has confirmed the news via the company’s official Twitter account:
Oh by the way, the final season of
#Fringe is back!

Note: The final season may not yet be available in all territories outside the US – we’ll endeavor to update as we find out more.
Thanks to James for the heads-up.
