Great news for all Fringe fans – it’s being reported that FOX have picked up the show for a third season! Head past the jump for more information.
According to Entertainment Weekly, FOX have renewed Fringe for a third season, removing fears that this season could be the show’s last. While I’m not surprised that the show is being renewed, the timing of this announcement is very unusual, especially when you consider that last year’s season 2 renewal wasn’t announced until May!
While we await “official” confirmation of the season 3 renewal (expected next week), this is a timely boost for Fringe, and gives the producers and writers the confidence to map out the show to the best of their abilities.
Congratulations to all involved in bringing Fringe to our screens, here’s hoping for more good times ahead (and hopefully, a more serialized approach
).
