By now many Fringe fans will have seen the latest teaser promising the nearness of answers. But with it all happening so fast, what clues does the teaser contain, and what about that oh so intriguing encounter? Fear not, our screencap breakdown will help you make sense of it all.
In case you missed it, or need to refresh, here’s the teaser again followed by the screencap breakdown:
- Three color-coded openings representing three of the main ‘realties’ the story has traversed. Followed by..
- Retro/recent moments that intersect the humanity and science of the journey, in turn followed by this brief footage from the episode..
- September. In The Lab. With Peter. He collapses from his injuries (the blood stain on his shirt is no more when Peter pops the big question, it’s possible Peter and Walter have fixed him up by this point).
- There’s an easter egg at the end of the teaser..
- The word OBSERVE tinged in amber. On closer inspection, it turns out the image is inverted. Here’s what the ‘clean’ image reveals:
- September with wires coming out of him.
- The word Observe is now old timeline blue. An inverted timeline reference could be derived from that.

To me it looks like a man, an observer, but not September, another observer. I the last few eps there has been a different Observer pulling duty observing as September normally does(not speaking about the one with December that can walk through walls) This is another Observer. But I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Thanks Roco! Baby Henry can’t disappear forever if they go back to orginal timeline then baby Henry exists there so we may see more of him soon or maybe he grew up and went to storybrook Maine and lives with EQ. (just Jk)
