Fox Unveil Midseason Dates For TOUCH & THE FOLLOWING


Fox has announced their midseason plan for Touch and new seriable The Following.

The Following, a new psychological thriller from Kevin Williamson, debuts Monday, January 21 at 9pm.

The intense, spellbinding drama follows RYAN HARDY (Kevin Bacon), an ex-FBI agent called out of retirement to track down JOE CARROLL (James Purefoy), a devious and diabolical serial killer, and the mastermind behind an ever-growing web of killers.

After getting pushed back to winter, the second season of Touch will finally surface Friday, February 1 at 9pm.  UPDATE: Fox has pushed the premiere date back a further week to Friday, February 8 at 8PM, while also making it a 2-hour premiere.

The second season shifts dramatically from New York to Los Angeles, single father MARTIN BOHM (Sutherland) and his gifted son, JAKE (David Mazouz), find themselves at the center of a global conspiracy involving a mother in search of her missing teenage daughter, a mathematical genius and a religious zealot assassinating others with abilities like Jake’s.

    Going by this I assume Fringe will end the week before this since Touch is in its timeslot? Does this possibly mean we will get a two hour Fringe finale? Because originally it was said that the final three eps were considered the finale, and that it would end in Feb on the date shown above as the Touch premier. I hope we do get a two hour Fringe finale event!

      I was thinking the same thing – I had the Fringe series finale marked down for this day. Love your idea of a two-hour finale, that would be really cool.
