FOX Brings Newbie Fringe Viewers Up to Speed with Lesson in Fringe 101

One of the challenges faced by networks when a show goes off the air for any considerable amount of time is how to bring new viewers up to speed on the crucial aspects of the story. This is a particular concern for FOX who, after renewing Fringe for a third season earlier than expected, will want to maximize their investment by reigning in more viewers.

With that in mind, it seems FOX are among the more savvy networks as they turn to the Internet to provide newbie viewers with a digestible induction into the world of the show with Fringe 101 – ‘a simple guide aiming to bring viewers up to speed on the events so far’. Among the interactive highlights are videos explaining the important aspects of Fringe mythology, including The Pattern, Peter and the 10 Things You Need to Know About Fringe.

To be honest, it does what it says on the tin and new viewers will no doubt find useful. Check out a couple of the videos below the jump.
