Falling Skies from Steven Spielberg and TNT may still be a lifetime away (it doesn’t arrive until Summer 2011), but we do at least have our first show logo for the series.
While this may or may not be the finalized image for the show, TNT have used it to decorate their Falling Skies page.
As for what clues it offers? I can’t say it’s too revealing. Yellow is an interesting enough color choice. It conveys hope and happiness, but is also known to represent cowardice and deceit. The spherical outline of the Earth (or ‘sonic boom’, as I like to call it) rests beneath the title words, perhaps suggesting that the alien arrival will not break the hope of mankind, or that it will test our courage and honor.
Or more likely, this is all just wild speculation based purely on title graphics that may very well change between now and summer 2011. That said, we have a while before the aliens come to deliver judgement over our species, so we might as well occupy our thoughts with wild theories.

Interesting theory!
And yes, we have plenty of time to elaborate new theories and maybe that will make the wait bearable

Indeed! Part of the fun with show’s like FS is coming up with theories and speculation based on the smallest details.
