Not to be upstaged by AMC’s Walking Dead, TNT have released a new batch of their own promotional photos for the upcoming series, Falling Skies. Head past the jump to see them all.

For a series about a struggling band of humans surviving an alien invasion, they look awfully smiley. Perhaps the aliens aren’t so bad after all - I KNEW IT!
Here’s the official description:
In FALLING SKIES, Wyle stars as a former college professor who becomes the leader of a group of soldiers and civilians struggling against an occupying alien force. Bloodgood co-stars as Anne Glass, a therapist who works with the surviving children to help them cope with the traumatic situation. The series also stars Drew Roy (Lincoln Heights) as Hal and Maxim Knight (Brothers & Sisters) as Matt, Tom’s two sons; and Seychelle Gabriel (Weeds) as Lourdes, an orphaned teenager who helps run the group’s commissary. Will Patton (Armageddon, TNT’s Into the West) plays a fierce leader of the resistance.
Hopefully Skies can start drumming up some more attention because it lagging behind some of the other up and coming drama series, like Terra Nova, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Comic Con is its big chance to crank up some positive buzz. The Skies panel will be held Friday, July 23, from 4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. (PT) in Room 6A. Panelists will include actors Noah Wyle and Moon Bloodgood, and co-executive producer and writer Mark Verheiden.
Falling Skies is slated to air sometime in 2011.
