The Killing‘s Brandon Jay McLaren has joined the second season of TNT‘s alien survival series Falling Skies in a recurring role.
THR report that McLaren, who played Rosie’s teacher Bennett Ahmed on the AMC serial, will appear in at least seven episodes of Falling Skies starting with the second season’s premiere.
The 31-year-old will play Sunil Chutani who’s described as a handsome and overwhelmed mechanic who has spent a fortune on an Ivy League engineering degree and was just days away from launching an IPO when the aliens hit.
Looking forward to seeing what McLaren brings to the series. I imagine we’ll start hearing a lot more Skies news as we head into production on the new season. We’ll keep you up to speed on developments.
Falling Skies returns for a 10-episode second season, slated summer 2012 on TNT.
