Dracula‘s first-season finale delivered low-but-improved ratings on Friday night.
The horror serial drew just 3.1 million viewers and a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating at 10pm, the show’s highest ratings for around a month.
As noted by EW, prospects for Dracula Season 2 don’t look good with the show said to be “very on-the-bubble” and NBC undecided (at least publicly) on its future.
NBC’s desire to have some kind of horror-drama block on Fridays with Grimm (looking good for renewal) serving as the anchor may yet work in Dracula‘s favor, though the network may decide to replace it with another show.
Of course, Hannibal Season 2 checks into Fridays next month.
