Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal project is nearing a series deal on NBC.

If NBC’s interest follows through, Hannibal will feast on a 13-episode series. According to Deadline, Fuller is intrigued by the “dark, sick side of Hannibal, who tends to feast on his victims.”

Can this work on NBC, particularly in a world where Dexter is still tapping into his dark passenger? Time will tell.

We’ll keep you updated on Hannibal, including word on its seriability if the project goes forward.

Hannibal is just a wee bit too barberic for NBC I think.

I really like the first 3 movies (The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal and Red Dragon), for several reasons: the acting, the music, the environment and of course the plot. But, mostly the acting. For that, is difficult to have a similar result in a TV series. It could happen exactly the same that with the 4th movie or worst. In conclusion, Hannibal is not material for TV.
