On today’s bite-sized serial menu, news and tidbits from the worlds of Falling Skies, True Blood, Breaking Bad, Game Of Thrones and American Horror Story.

  • Christopher Meloni tells THR that his 500-year-old Vampire Authority leader, Roman, has an “unbending drive to get what he wants.” He adds:

“I think on the outside if you’re with him, you agree and you want to follow someone like that. If you disagree, then you think he’s a fanatic.”

  • Speaking last night at Los Angeles Film Festival, Bryan Cranston confirmed that Breaking Bad will have a presence at this summer’s Comic-Con and that the Season 5 premiere will also be screened at the annual event, according to Geek Tyrant.
  • Following the Bushspike controversy, HBO has pulled the 10th episode of the fantasy serial from rotation on digital platforms and halted all future shipments of its best-selling Season 1, THR has confirmed.
  • Britne Oldford (Skins) has joined the second season of FX’s American Horror Story as Alma, who will presumably play one of the patients at the institute for the criminally insane run by Jessica Lange. [TV Line]
