Arrow has added more spice to its already mouth-watering universe with the recruitment of another classic DC comics hero in the form of The Huntress.
The character will be played Aussie actress Jessica De Gouw (Underbelly) in a multi-episode arc, EW reports.

Gotham City raised, Huntress (aka Helena Rosa Bertinelli) first made her mark in 1947 and has prowled the stage in various incarnations in her own DC comics series. The updated version will serve as a possible love interest for Oliver Queen, though her lust for revenge puts her on a collision path with the hooded hero.
The official character outline reads:
“Helena is a potential love interest for Oliver Queen; a fellow vigilante, set on destroying her father’s organized crime empire. But Helena’s blind pursuit of revenge will put her on a collision course with the Arrow.”
Huntress is poised to appear in Episode six.
De Gouw’s casting comes on the back of Arrow recruiting John Barrowman in a top-secret recurring role.
Arrow lands Wednesday, Oct. 10 on the CW.
