The second chapter of American Horror Story has a title.
Season 2, which takes place in a 1960′s asylum for the criminally insane run by Jessica Lange’s all-new character, is aptly titled “Asylum”.
Co-creator Ryan Murphy explained to TV Guide:
“We picked ‘Asylum’ because it not only describes the setting — an insane asylum run by Jessica Lange’s character which was formerly a tuberculosis ward — but also signifies a place of haven for the unloved and the unwanted. This year’s theme is about sanity and tackling real-life horrors.”
AHS recently recruited Carnivale alum Clea Duvall to guest star in Season 2, which kicks off in October on FX.
