AMERICAN HORROR STORY: James Cromwell Checks In For Long Season 2 Arc

Jessica Lange sure looks set to have plenty of enemies in the upcoming second season of American Horror Story, following the news that James Cromwell is in negotiations to join Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s serial-anthology in yet another nemesis role.

Per Deadline, Cromwell is set to join the series for a massive 10-episode arc opposite lead Jessica Lange.

The second season of AHS is set in an East Coast institution for the criminally insane run by Lange’s character. Cromwell will play Dr. Arden, who works at the institution and clashes with his boss, played by Oscar winner Lange.

Chloe Sevigny and Lizzie Brocheré‘s characters are also set the bump heads with Lange next season. Also onboard for the rebooted second season: Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe.

The FX show is currently casting some pretty freaky and attractive roles for season two, including a contortionist and “the most beautiful boy in the world.” No pressure! Plus, the hunt for Adam Levine‘s fiancée Teresa, aka the other half of “The Lovers,” is underway.

You know how some shows like using actors from shows like ‘The West Wing’, or ‘The Wire’, then of course there’s those Bad Robot players. Maybe this show will use former ‘Six Feet Under’ actors, if so, I approve.
