Three more American Horror Story cast members, Evan Peters (Tate), Sarah Paulson (Billie Dean Howard) and Lily Rabe (Nora), will return for the second season of the serial anthology. [Updated]
AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy made the announcement at the show’s PaleyFest panel on Friday, where he stayed relatively mum on Season 2 details:
“We don’t want to talk about it too much, we’re still writing, anybody could pop up at any time. Everyone is playing the opposite of what they played before. The only real rule on this show is no werewolves and no vampires.
A supernatural element will always be a part of the show. But we’re trying to do something more historically accurate.””
He did, however, offer hope to those looking for connectivity between the first and second seasons by admitting that even though Lange wont be playing Constance when the show returns, he hopes to answer one lingering question:
“We have not lost sight of the fourth child. We want to answer that.”
Earlier in the week Murphy described the second season as “the Jessica Lange” show.
