Secret Circle‘s Chris Zylka has a landed a role on the upcoming second season of American Horror Story, the actor has announced.
The actor revealed the news to EW at last night’s The Amazing Spider-Man premiere. He wasn’t able to cough up many details, but did say:
“Ryan Murphy, thank God, let me finally announce tonight that I will be a cast member on the second season of American Horror Story,”
“It is a thrill, an honor, a challenge. I cannot believe I will get to be in the same room as Jessica Lange, let alone work with her. I am a lucky, lucky guy. I, of course, cannot tell you who or what I am playing or anything about the story yet.”
No character details have surfaced yet, but Zylka admitted to sharing scenes with Jessica Lange, which could well mean that he’s a patient or employee at the facility for the criminally insane which her character runs.
AHS writer Tim Minear recently revealed that Lange’s Season 2 persona is a nun who also serves as the administrator of the 1960’s-set facility.
