Jennifer Garner has admitted she’d be interested in an Alias reboot.
Alias spanned five seasons between 2001 and 2006, with the story focusing on Garner’s iconic CIA agent Sydney Bristow.
While Garner believes an Alias reboot is unlikely, she told Fretts On Film that she’d be willing to reenter the spy game if the right ingredients were in place:
“I think JJ. Abrams has got his hands full. I don’t see him turning around and rebooting Alias anytime soon. If he was involved, I’m sure the rest of us would sign right up.
We had a blast making that show and we’re all still superclose, so I’m sure you would find an eager group of participants right there.”
Of course, Garner’s not the only Alias cast member this year to have been quizzed about the possibility of a sixth season. Victor Garber, who played Jack Bristow, suggested that the time for an Alias return has passed:
“Well … you shouldn’t expect one. Do you want me to lie? [laughs] If it was up to me, it would have happened a few years ago. Sadly I don’t have that power. Alias will always have a place in J.J. Abrams’ heart but it’s time to put that away. Or get the DVDs [laughs].”
