About
Seriable.com is a blog covering the very best in serialized and genre television shows – including those shows that masquerade as procedural when we all know they’re serial at heart!
Seri-able literally means “Serialized Television that can”. Seriable.com (i.e. soci-able) also acknowledges the social attraction of tv shows that draw an Internet crowd who love nothing better than to delve deeper into their favorite on-going tv shows before, during and after broadcast.
The serial shows we cover predominantly have a mythology, fantasy or puzzle slant.
Our inspiration for Seriable? Firstly, we love serialized TV and believe that good serialized television is no less effective or viable than their procedural counterparts. We know that serialized story-telling can be some of the most intellectual, fascinating, mesmeric and darn right entertaining television around. The trick is bringing good, if not great, serialized stories to life. Bad serialized TV? Well, we cover that as well, but prefer to poke at it with our big serial stick.
Seriously though, we love the ongoing story and to our shock found that there wasn’t a dedicated place on the Internet where we could share our passion and support for serialized television with like-minded people. So we created Seriable.com and plan to give much love to this vastly under-represented story-telling medium.
We also have other blogs, websites and message boards for various serialized shows, but we wanted a central location were we can share, discuss and cover all of the wonder that serialized TV has to offer.
So if you’re like us and you have a passion for the ongoing story (or if you want somewhere to vent about crappy serialized shows), let us be your bowl and spoon, and prepare to eat up serialized television like Tony the Tiger.
If you have a query or you’d like to write for Seriable.com, please send shoot us an email.
